Yun Hap Taekwondo holds Gradings quarterly in March, June, September and December at Aviation High, Widdop St, Clayfield. This venue is a relatively central location. We encourage all of our students to bring along family and friends for support on the day to give that extra boost of encouragement.
Gradings are an opportunity to show case student martial arts skills in front of the grading panel in order to achieve the next belt ranking. Students must be physically and mentally ready before presenting themselves for grading and must know their belt level grading syllabus thoroughly. To do this a combination of class attendance and at-home practice is essential to set up success on Grading day.
Due to the size of the Yun Hap Taekwondo Club, Grading is split over two days.
- Blue Belts are on a Friday night.
- White, Yellow, Red and Black Belts are on Saturday.
Thanks to our fabulous volunteers, there is a canteen running to provide snacks, tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We also have a club merchandise stand available on the day for purchases of anything from our Yun Hap club range along with protective gear and other items.
