Every year mid-August Yun Hap Taekwondo holds its annual Tournament.

The Yun Hap Tournament is part of the State Association’s calendar and is our flagship event inviting different clubs from all over Queensland to attend to test themselves against other competitors in patterns, sparring and other disciplines. In essence, it’s our ‘home game’!

The Yun Hap Tournament is held every year at the Redlands PCYC at Capalaba. Competitors can present their skills in Poomsae (patterns), sparring and other disciplines. We usually also hold a jumping front kick competition at the event.

Our Tournament is a great opportunity for novice students who have never entered a tournament and modified rules apply in junior divisions and on request for new competitors. Everyone is well looked after and there are many people at hand to point the right direction on the day.

Yun Hap instructors and students put loads of effort into the event to ensure the competition runs smoothly and professionally with a strong focus on player safety.

Come along and challenge yourself at our tournament. Who knows what the day will bring……..Maybe even a Gold Medal!!!
